I’ve eaten at Rosa too many times count, so it’s difficult to write a post about it. Because words fail me, and so do thoughts, just read these pictures. Then head to Rosa’s.
- eat and drink menu
- union sq location
- michelada (tecate, worchestershire, tabasco, pepper, lime, salted rim)
- table side guacamole (avocado, cilantro, tomato, onion, jalepeno)
- zarape de pato (duck w/ yellow habanero cream sauce)
- quesadilla (mushrooms, corn, oaxaca cheese)
- enchiladas de jaiba (lump crab w/ tomatillo sauce), served with rice/beans
Rosa also has locations at Lincoln Square (62nd/Columbus) and 1st Ave (at 58th Street).

One of the most amazing products we’ve seen since arriving stateside is a 24-ounce can of Budweiser mixed with Clamato, marketed as a Michelada. TBE is no expert on Mexican bevvies, and was hoping CGFD could clarify whether this clam-infused concoction is a known and loved iteration of the classic Michelada?
